In the dark of night - with the moon glowing bright - a skeleton tapped on my screen. Though obviously dead, very lively he said: Have a Happy Halloween!

It’s that time of the year again: Halloween. Teachers go looking for some fun Halloween verses and amazing crafty ideas to transform their classroom into a haunted castle, a pumpkin buffet or a witch’s deadly kitchen.

Pinterest is kind of the place to go to find some nice ingredients to conjure a Halloween curse upon your classroom.

13. Halloween Bingo

Teaching a foreign language? Say a word, concerning Halloween in that particular language. Students have to tick of the meaning of that word on the bingo sheet. Halloween apps for in the classroom

Besides all the crafty Halloween ideas, I also looked for some fun free Halloween apps you could use in your classroom.

19. Scary sounds

This app is a sound panel with 45 different Halloween sounds. Let your students create a (puppet) play with Halloween monsters and use the sounds to dramatize the play. Some of them give you goosebumps…

20. Halloween Voice Changer

This one also could be used during a Halloween play. Students record their voice and transform it into a scary one. They can choose between more than 20 voice changers or they can change their voice by themselves by moving the parameters.
