How to import questions from another widget

You probably didn’t know, but BookWidgets has an amazing option that can save you lots and lots of time.

Tired of always typing in the same questions? Well, here’s how you can import and choose questions from widgets you’ve already made and saved. It’s a bit like copy and pasting questions from one widget to the other, only better 🙂

Guidelines

Follow these few steps:

  1. Open the BookWidgets desktop app.
  2. Create a new widget (or open one you were working on)
  3. Go to the menu in the left upper corner of your screen.
  4. Click on Quiz and choose “import questions from”.
  5. Choose any saved widget on your computer where you want to import the question from.
  6. Select the questions you want to import.
  7. You’ll see now that those questions appear in your new widget.
  8. That’s it! You’re done.

Attention

Importing questions from other widgets only works with the BookWidgets desktop app, not with the browser version.

When the images in the questions you are importing are not saved on your local device, they will be missing in your imported questions.

Importing questions is only possible with the following widgets: Quiz, Worksheet, Split Worksheet, Survey and the Exit Slip.
